Position: Development Specialist.

Duties: Assist in direct or indirect donor interaction and in the planning and management of developmental programs for non-profit organization. Assists in the design, production, and distribution of fundraising/marketing materials; develop, write, prepare, and disseminate donor correspondence, and write solicitation proposals. Secure donor gifts from Armenian community, and provide donors with relevant materials. Plan and coordinate staff members and volunteers, and facilitates larger promotional and fundraising activities and events. Provide financial stewardship and reporting to donors; ensure appropriate expenditure of donor funds. Organize and coordinate the activities of volunteers and committees/boards engaged in fundraising activities. Identify concert venues and organize concert tours for young musical students. Provide all the necessary logistical activities during concert tour by these young musicians from housing to meals. Annual visit to Armenia and meet with organizations/schools in Armenia to identify young talents with the purpose of securing scholarships, master classes and financial assistance. Meet the parents of these young musicians in Armenia to establish relationship and trust $49,000 per year. Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 2 years experience is required.
