Anahit Dilbaryan – kanoon, piano

 

Born in 1990 in Spitak, Armenia. In 1997 she entered Spitak Music School and studied in the class of Yelena Grigoryan, majoring in piano. In 2000 she moved to Spendiaryan Music School to the class of Professor Sergey Kechek and continues education there. She also plays kanon having studied the instrument with her mother, Alvard Karapetyan.

Numerous times participated in the international competitions, festivals and concerts. In 1997 she won the first prize both in piano and kanon at Vanadzor Festival and Competition. In 2002 she participated in the Black See CIS countries Golden Ship Festival ( Russia, diploma).

 In 2003 she won the first prize at the VI Arno Babadjanyan Little Piano Players Republican Competition. She was also awarded the Special prize there. In 2004 as a kanoon player, she participated in the “Delphic games” II International Juniors competition-festival (3 rd prize and a bronze medal, Moldova). In 2005 she participated in the FLAME competition and was awarded the first prize there ( France). The same year she participated in the Spendiaryan Music School Festival Competition and was awarded a diploma there. At “Delphic games” III International Juniors competition-festival she was awarded a diploma as a kanon player ( Ukraine, 2005).

In 2006 at “Delphic games” IV International Juniors competition-festival she was awarded the Silver medal and took the 2 nd prize ( Kazakhstan). From 2001 she is a bursar of Spivakov Fund. Toured regional centers of Armenia, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, UK and appeared with Symphonic orchestras. . In 2007 appeared in the YerazArt Spring seed tour over 8 cities of the U.S.A. The same year entered the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory.
